Ribbon crosses the box and splits the front into four panels, which is the whole idea of the page: four separate areas that can each take a different colour without any bleeding between them. A star sits on the lid. Four is worth counting before starting. Some children colour all four the same and some use every crayon in the tin, and both look deliberate.
