The bow takes up almost as much room as the box beneath it, which is exactly backwards and exactly right for this age. Both loops are wide open, so filling them takes seconds rather than concentration. Ribbon and paper are separate shapes, which makes this a good page for showing that two colors can meet at a line. Works for a birthday, and works just as well on an ordinary Tuesday.
