Six petals ring the centre, each one big and evenly spaced. Real rangoli is made on the floor from coloured powder, which means every one is different and none of them is wrong — a useful thing to say before handing over the crayons. The repeating shape makes this a natural pattern page: same colour all the way round, or six different ones.
